Counselor Information:
Katrina Velasquez, M.Ed. (she/they), is a second-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at Texas A&M University. She completed a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Human Development, with a minor in Biology, at the University at Albany, State University of New York. She also earned her M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology at Temple University in Philadelphia. Katrina currently works as a graduate assistant at the Texas A&M Counseling and Assessment Clinic, serving as the clinic’s service coordinator. Her research interests include the intersectionality of minority stress and trauma, sexual orientation and gender identity, and resilience.
